  2.  Follow the easy in-app registration process using your FirstBank debit card details. If you are a new customer, you can also open an account directly through the app.
  3.  Once registered, log in with your credentials to start using the app.

How to transfer money from first bank

  • FirstMobile App:

    • Log into the app
    • Select “Transfers”
    • Choose the recipient’s bank (FirstBank or other banks)
    • Enter the account number and amount
    • Confirm details and authenticate the transfer
  • FirstOnline (Internet Banking):

    • Log into your online banking account
    • Navigate to “Transfers”

How to buy airtime

You can purchase airtime for yourself or others using both the FirstBank online banking platform (FirstOnline) and the FirstMobile app:

Using FirstOnline (Internet Banking):

  1. Go to the FirstBank online banking website and log in with your User ID and Password.  
  2. Look for the “Airtime Recharge” option under the “Payments” or “Services” section.
  3. Choose whether you want to recharge your own number or someone else’s.
  4. Input the recipient’s phone number and select their network provider (MTN, Airtel, Glo, or 9mobile).
  5. Input the amount of airtime you want to purchase.
  6. Review the transaction details and click on “Confirm” to proceed with the payment.
  7. Enter your transaction PIN or any other required authentication method.
  8. You’ll receive a confirmation message and the airtime will be credited to the designated phone number.

Using FirstMobile App:

  1. Open the FirstMobile app on your smartphone and log in using your credentials.
  2. Look for the “Airtime” or “Buy Airtime” option on the home screen or in the main menu.
  3.  Choose whether you want to buy airtime for yourself or someone else. If for yourself, your registered mobile number will be automatically selected. If for someone else, enter their phone number.
  4.  Select the network provider (MTN, Airtel, Glo, or 9mobile) of the recipient.
  5. Enter the desired airtime amount you wish to purchase.
  6.  Review the details of your airtime purchase. If everything is correct, tap on “Confirm” or “Buy” to proceed.
  7.  You may be asked to enter your transaction PIN or use biometrics (fingerprint or face ID) to authorize the payment.
  8. Upon successful completion of the transaction, you’ll receive a confirmation message both on the app and via SMS. The airtime will be credited to the designated phone number immediately.
